Author Biography

Buck Tilton is co-founder of the Wilderness Medicine Institute of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) in Lander, Wyoming, advisor to Western State College's Mountain Rescue Team, and author of multiple books on backcountry medicine and safety. He is a member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America and a member of the American Medical Writers Association. He resides in Lander, Wyoming.
