Summary

"Do no harm" is a creed and oath of beneficence all healthcare professionals are expected to strictly abide by in their practices. As patients, we expect those in the medical community to uphold the health, safety, and general wellbeing of every person under their care. While a vast majority of medical professionals sustain their oath resolutely, there are exceptions to any rule.
Sociopathy, narcissism, corruption, greed, unethical behavior, and criminality are not isolated to the general population. This collection of tales, although intriguing and fascinating, are also invaluable for patients and healthcare professionals alike. Within this book are five spine-tingling tales meant to provide insight to the warning signs of unethical behavior, as well as the devastating effects which can result from the actions of an immoral healthcare provider.
This book does contain some material that may not be suitable for younger audiences. Parents should exercise caution before allowing their child to read the stories within.

Alec has devoted his life to the pursuit of knowledge and is a scholar of the biological sciences including animal behavior, genetics, epidemiology, and human medicine. "Bad Medicine", Alec's first published work, was written during his second year of medical school. An immensely diverse range of interests paired with a natural knack for storytelling and writing meant it was simply a matter of time before Alec turned his attention toward publishing literature. He finds inspiration in legendary authors such as H.G. Wells, Mark Twain, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
