Summary

A continuation of Joan Van Patten's first six books, Nippon Porcelain, Seventh Series, contains absolutely no repeats from her other books. Once again she has included additional marks and more vintage ads and catalog pages, making this book jam-packed with novel information. There are over 900 exciting full-color photographs. The presentation of each piece includes size, mark, and current collector value, and a useful index, glossary, and bibliography are attached. A history of the Noritake Company supplements the other informative text, as well as more salesman's pages, information on Morimura Brothers dolls, reproductions, backstamps, rare and unusual pieces, and much more. Joan Van Patten, co-founder and past president of the International Nippon Collector's Club, is a qualified, trustworthy source for every Nippon collector, and her series is considered required reading. Don't miss her latest in the series dedicated to porcelain from Nippon, "The Land of the Rising Sun".
