Author Biography

Maureen Egan is a Richmond-based freelance writer whose personal essays, travel-writing and features have appeared in The Christian Science Monitor, Virginia Living, Troika, Richmond Magazine, RHome, and other publications. In a change of pace, a poem is forthcoming in Highlights. Her wide-ranging and personal At Home column has appeared in RHome since 2003. Her work has won several awards, and she contributed an essay to Not What I Expected: The Unpredictable Road from Womanhood to Motherhood.
