Summary
To many educators, it has become quite clear that to be most effective in teaching the diversity of children in today's classrooms, the must integrate much of the learning in each discipline with the whole curriculum and make it meaningful to the lives of the children, rather than simply teach it as unrelated disciplines at the same time each day.
