Author Biography
Peter M. Karsten is Chairman of the Department of History at the University of Pittsburgh and co-director of the Pittsburgh Center for Social History. He is the author of Patriot-Heroes in England and America, The Naval Aristocracy, Law, Soldiers and Combat and Military Threats.
