Summary

In June of 1999, Payne Stewart was at the top of his game solidifying his career as a great golf champion and outstanding personality of the sport by winning the U.S. Open and a place on the U.S. Ryder's Cup team. Just four months later, on October 25, 1999, his life came to an abrupt and tragic end. This is a tribute to not only one of golf's most outstanding players, but also to a loving husband and father and a man of Christian faith, from the person who perhaps knew him best--his wife of eighteen years--Tracey Stewart. This homage to Payne Stewart gives the reader insight into his professional accomplishments as well as his personal victories--the things that made him unique.

As Payne's PGA career took off, the Stewarts moved to Orlando, Florida, where Tracey lives with their two children, Chelsea and Aaron Ken Abraham is the author of over forty books
