Dale Groom (Dallas, TX), The Plant Groom, is a horticulturist and native Texan. Dale is an accomplished author, radio and television host, speaker, consultant, and columnist whose column "Ask the Plant Groom" is syndicated. Dale is an extension horticulturist and certified professional nurseryman.

Dan Gill (Baton Rouge, LA) is an extension horticulturist with the Louisiana State University Agricultural Center. He teaches lectures and demonstrations and writes articles on gardening. He has bachelor and master degrees in horticulture from Louisiana State University.
