Author Biography

Claire Keegan comes from County Wicklow. She has won several awards for her work including the William Trevor Prize, the Martin Healy Prize, the Francis MacManus Award, the Tom Gallon Award, the Kilkenny Prize, the Olive Cook Award, the Hugh Leonard Bursary, the Macaulay Fellowship, and the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature. She was also a Wingate scholar. Her debut, Antarctica, was a Los Angeles Times Book of the Year. She lives in rural Ireland
